If your photo is selected, you will get email with information when your image can be used, depending on the other ongoing projects in the schedule.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Unique expressive and artistic portrait photography, preferably in color
- High quality sharp photos, min 1000 px width/height
- Interesting light, contrast
- I am looking for serious, dreamy, edgy facial expression, but feel free to show your mood and personality
- Anyone can be on the photo. Original images will be used only for inspiration and won’t be published.
WHO CAN APPLY
Anyone. No age or other limitations. Send any portrait photo that you think can be turned into unique artwork.
PERSONAL DATA
No personal data is required and won’t be collected. You will be asked if you want your contribution to be mentioned when the finished artwork is posted on social media.
Your email will be used only to communicate your application. If you want to receive notifications for finished artworks or other news from this website, use the subscribe button below.
COPYRIGHT
Kalina Dzhambova is owner of copyrights. Reposting images without permission and giving credits to the artist is not allowed.
You don’t need to have copyright of the photos that you are sending, they will not be shown anywhere or recognised. I use them only to get some feeling and express it afterwards in my work.
If you want to mention the photographer who took the original photo, just let me know. I will be happy to do so.
GOOD TO KNOW
I am not asking to be paid and I am not going to pay for using your photo. I am seeking inspiration and I am offering you experience, no other commitments.
Portraits, part of this project are artistic representation of the original images you provided. 100% realism or physical resemblance with the model are not a target.
If you want portrait that looks like you, feel free to contact me and commission one.
FINISHED ARTWORK
- You will be the first to see image of the finished artwork. Before I publish it on social media, I will contact you and ask if you want to be tagged /mentioned as inspiration.
- You can share the digital copy of the artwork on your social media only if you tag my Instagram or Facebook account after I post it.
- Portrait will be published on my website, Facebook and Instagram up to two weeks after you receive mail confirmation from artbykalina@gmail.com that I am working with your reference photo.
- By sending me photos, you are not obliged in any way to purchase the finished artwork and you don’t have right to repost the digital copy without permission and credits to Kalina Dzhambova.
- If you want to buy the portrait, price is 5700kr and includes artwork, painted on high quality 100% cotton paper with professional watercolours, wooden frame and custom made passpartout in size 50x70cm.
